Good morning all. Gloomy here, 36 with a chance of rain. Where the hell is this "global warming" I keep hearing about...
Better stay safe Bunny, tornadoes are nothing to mess around with. If you have a basement head down there.
Doing good, her toe actually looks skin colored instead of dark red. I'm still waiting to see the bills for this whole mess though. Last time she was in a Hosp for 3 days the bill was close to $10,000. Insurance covered most of that, but that's still incredible for just 3 days.
I found a diagram of the infusion device, now I won't have to take it apart like I was going to....LOL

Last month I went to a Dr. apt. I was told my Ins. had lapsed and I would have to pay a co-pay of $20.
If I did not pay the $20. I would be billed the full price of a visit which was $150. if I just left. I paid the $20 because I knew there was nothing wrong with the ins. coverage.
Anyway, I called the Ins. co. and it was still a mistake on their part from two months previous which was no fault of mine.
Moral is, as you know, double and triple check the bills as they come in.
Old man ramblin' over.
No, that's not rambling, that's common sense. You have to be active in checking your bills & co pays. Some of these receptionists don't know what your co pay is, but then when you have to deal with who knows how many insurances, I can see the confusion.
I got a bill for my Wife that said the claim was denied & we were on the hook for $380. I called the insurance, they looked at it & said oops, it got sent to the wrong dept, we'll fwd it to the right place. Some people won't call & just accept what's on paper. Question everything is the moral here.
