    Everything is set in my room actually Modem and Router i put a Signal Booster upstairs and the PC in the living room gets like 90+ with a wireless NetGear stick

    Just this minute done a test here and got this.

    This is a bungalow and the router is set at one end because that's where the phone line is, plus my desktop and hubbys desktop can be connected via Ethernet with his cable going from the router through the wall to his machine. His laptop connects via Wi-Fi.

    My laptop, Smartphone, Kindle, Nintendo DSi 3DS and Sky box all connect via Wi-Fi in the living room at the other end of the bungalow.
