RE : touch screen laptop, not tablet.

I do not want to waste a valuable spot which other needs to post computer problems.
So I post my question here. Hope it is OK.

My question is : is it worth the extra $ to buy a touch screen laptop ?
I mean a laptop with optical hard drive, decent internal storage capacity and reasonable Ram.
I am tired of using the mouse, and playing games with touch is more efficient than using the mouse.
    Am I wasting money ?

When i got mine i paid the extra for a touch screen (cant remember how much more, but dont remember it was much)

For me it depends how is use the LT, if sitting at a table with it, i find the touch a little awkward
However, if sitting with the laptop on you knee, then touch is quite nice to use

I would do the same again if buying new, but woudnt pay a lot extra for a touch screen

Why is it awkward ? I don't understand.

It's a laptop with keyboard I am referring to.

The thing i find awkward is that if you are sitting at a desk with the laptop, its not a nice experience for long time use to be reaching over to touch the screen, after a while your arm aches

If sitting with the laptop on your knee, then your elbows are resting on the top of your legs while using the touch screen, so it feels a lot easier to use
