Avatars

Have installed a funny avatar which only has movement of eyes....this works in my pictures yet installed in this forum only shows a still picture.....other members avatars have movement, am curious as to why this is? or am I doing something wrong.

Avatar has to be 100 by 100 pixels, profile picture 150 by 150 pixels, if the picture is bigger, forum will resize it, making it into jpeg. You have to resize it to 100x100 or (150x150 for profile) yourself, to keep it gif, eg with Resize animated gif.
