    Internet Radio Project

I am working on a Raspberry Pi internet radio with some python codes I borrowed and a customized design interface on a 3.5" LCD touchscreen.
This is my work in progress ( I am still working on a case.)

    Thanks @Dude.

I got the case going today. It's a gutted out mini- subwoofer box. Cut-out an opening in front for the LCD display. I also fired up Photoshop for the music player interface design. :)

How much did it cost to build it?

The Raspberry Pi 2 is US$35 and it can be used by itself using the other peripherals that you already own like keyboard, mouse, monitor/tv, etc.

The 3.5" touchscreen is another $35. The rest are from my tech junk drawer. . :)

There are cheaper tablets you might say. But it's all about fun. :)
I am very satisfied with the outcome. I might buy another Pi2 later.

    Edit:
I forgot I also bought a rotary tool to cut holes in the box ( I found one at 50% off... $40) . But that one is really a good investment. :)
