DNS problem, trying to connect to my web sites

My web host changed servers last week, We know there are DNS problems.

Sometimes I can connect to one of my sub-domains. But none of the rest of them with the chage which took place 4 days ago.

I have a shared IP address for my domain. I can get to cpanel and do admin work available in there.

I would like to add material, articles, etc. to my sub-domains in spite of the DNS problems.

I tried substituting the IP address for my domain name, no connection. WS_FTP says it cannot find it. I tried the same thing in both IE 10 and FF 35, no connection to my sites. I get the 'make sure you typed them in correctly' error message.

The links to my sites are bookmarked, so I know they are correct.

Is there a way to connect so I can log into my sub-domains and do some work ?

    Thanks !

edit: I tried nslookup from the command line, my ISP's DNS server says it canot find it.

    Site url: http://www.drivein-jim.net

    edit 2:

I was able to ftp several hours ago, but no ftp connection about 3-4 hours later.

    edit 3:

I noticed some mentions of using MySQL entries to post articles in a cms. Is there a way to do this without breaking my site ?

You would be better asking at a web hosting site like - Web Hosting Talk - The largest, most influential web hosting community on the Internet

I looked it over. I have so many web accounts now. I'll have to think about it.

You may wanna start looking at dynamic dns (DDNS). You can try a free version at no-ip.org
I did and now subscribed to it.

My web host's guy who would deal with this is on vacation. So I'll wait until he gets back and discuss it with him.
