Microsoft's HoloLens Designer Mike Ey Killed in Car Accident

Unfortunately, it has come to our attention that one of the people who helped improve and define Microsoft's HoloLens experience, Michael Ey, died Saturday morning in a car accident.

KiroTV reports police said Mike's car was rear-ended by a hit-and-run driver going over 100 miles an hour on State Route 520. The driver, who goes by the name of Robert Malsch, was apprehended later by the police who used a dog to track him.

Seems like it always happens this way. The one that should have died in the accident lives on but innocent people die. Very tragic.
