How To Create A RC Car With Raspberry Pi and WD PiDrive

    Hello ladies andgents!

@z3r010 from SevenForums pointed mehere to share this project, but since I don't want to interrupt yourdiscussions on The Raspberry Pi Thread [2], I thought it would be better to create a new thread. :)

It's a cool short video that my colleagues from WD Labs have made! It shows the RPi and the Pi drive used together on a remote-controlled car with a camera demonstrating how it operates.

I hope you guys find this small technical project interesting. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. :)

    Cheers!

Hey, thank you for the interest! :)

Actually, this is not a relabeled or reused drive, it was specifically engineered for the Raspberry Pi. It was build off of the WD Blue.

.if they sold local I would consider buying one/

    edit'''
I read it on a Pi community on Google+.

Since it has odd capacity some people said it's re-certified 500GB HD with bad blocks... I am skipping it.

Unfortunately, the PiDrive momentarily is not sold in Canada, in the US the nearest. :/

Thank you again for the information! :)
