    A little rain yesterday, I was lucky.


    I live in St Tammany Parish which is across the lake from New Orleans. Lots of flooded homes. Up to 17" of rain.

    I was lucky, street flooding and 12 hr without power.

    Guess that three inches we had up here in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho can't even compete with that even though it dropped the snow level by four inches. . .that is a great deal of water. . .The farmers are loving the snow this year. . .

    There's something about wading around in all that water at a power station. Don't think I'd want that job.
