No. The URL for the radio station comes out correct. There's just no sound coming out. I'll give it more time. It's probably just a site issue also. I've programmed a lot of stuff on that pi. I don't wanna do them again if I can help it. :)

No. You don't use Putty for viewing the pi desktop. You need VNC viewer. It's a 2 step process.
    1. Install "tightvncserver" on pi ( "sudo apt-get install tightvncserver")

    2. Install VNC server/viewer on your desktop.

Sorry my friend, you still need Google to look it up. I can't link you right now. I am on Tapatalk. :) At least you have an idea now.

I just tried to use my Logitech T650 wireless touchpad in OPENELECT. I can move the cursor but can't click anything? The only button on this thing is the on off switch. Taping it does nothing, even repeated quick double taps. Would have been nice but ow well. Back to my keyboard touchpad combo.

PuTTY will allow you to remotely open a terminal session on your Pi and will be command line only. VNC will allow you connect to the desktop and interact with the GUI.

did you activate the "vncserver"? just type "vncserver" on ssh terminal.

    edit:

Take note also of the encircled number on the image below. That is the last digit of the port number "590x", where x is the last digit.
