Any XBOX ONE owners out there?

I just bought one and I'm pretty frustrated and disappointed in its features, or lack there of. First off though, I must say the fit and finish is excellent. It feels solid and well made. Same deal with the game controller that came with it.

Now comes the start of my rant.

The XBOX has issues though, for me anyway, it does. One of the things I wanted to do was load my music collection on to the hard drive and play it from there, no such luck though, no supported. I have the 1TB hard drive. So I load my music on a USB 3 thumb drive and plug it in the back. I go to play it with the Media Player App and it plays the songs alphabetically by file name? I can't find any option to play them by the ID3 TAG track number, WTF? This is basic stuff that should be supported, Windows Media Player has no problem doing it? I installed the "TRIAL" version of Groove and it doesn't see the thumb drive or external media at all. Uninstalled Groove. I had to Google how to actually do that, it was not obvious or easy.

It's been a long time since I owned a game console of any kind so its all new to me. The Windows 10 on the XBOX is not even close to being like Windows 10 on a PC. Having to navigate with the game controller was a bit of a learning curve too. I plugged in a mini keyboard I had that has a built in trackpad (that emulates a mouse) and the keypad worked but the trackpad didn't. No cursor on the screen at all in Edge. Had to use the gamepads joystick to get a cursor and as soon as you stop moving the stick the cursor goes away. Logging in here was a royal PITA. I just don't get why they made doing anything so bloody hard? I plugged my cable box to the HDMI in on the XBOX and the HDMI out to my TV. I was hoping when the XBOX was off, the signal would just pass through. No such luck, you have to find the watch live TV option in the XBOX menu to do that and leave your XBOX on to watch TV. I bought the optional Media Remote. The backlit keys are impossible to see when they are not backlit. And they are only backlit momentarily if you move the remote around or press a key. Otherwise everything is just black. The volume up down and mute do nothing if your sound goes out the HDMI. They want you to program the XBOX's IR transmitter to adjust the TV via IR.

My XBOX is in my media hutch and the IR transceiver on the XBOX is on the back. There is no way for that IR signal to hit my TV's IR receiver. I went to download the free game that came with it and got this ridiculously long convoluted error code to type into the xbox.com/errorhelp site. No matches found. Eventually, on the third try entering the promo code it worked. I bought this XBOX so I could play the HALO Master Chiefs Collection so I'm keeping it. I can't play them all on the PC. It looks like about all I will ever do on this thing is play games. The rest of it just isn't worth the hassle to use. Hopefully they add/fix some of it with updates. Sorry for the long rant but this just frustrates the hell out of me that it's lacking basic functionality. And I had to vent it somewhere. I've posted some questions on the XBOX Yammer network and the XBOX.com forum. So far no replies.

Any tips or tricks or work arounds will be greatly appreciated. The one thing I would really like to be able to do is play my albums in the correct tracks order. Without having to rename every MP3 file.
