I happen to be somewhere saturday and bought one brand new for $5.00 lol. The old one a Kingston at 4gigs has been around since 2008. But it still works fine.

That is a good price. I paid around $30.00 or $40.00 dollars for the one I have. And that was the sale price.

Is Sandisk the one with a built-in software? I hate that software. It's like the flashdrive has a mind of it's own. :)

Brought a couple but non have built in Software. . .I say you had a bit of bad luck. . .:)

I don't have it anymore so I cant verify. The one I has was about 10 years ago, so I assume the software has changed.

Mine is that 4GB SanDisk Cruzer. I don't use it a lot.

I just had a look again on that Sandisk Cruzer. I wiped it out AGAIN. Nothing. Still there.
