Makes a change to see him on his feet instead of his back.
Does he ever go out of the garden Steph. ?
Yes Joan Max does go in to the fields but never stays away from the Kitchen for very long

Yesterday SIberian decided to venture outside and check out the world. Well... it sure didn't go well. When Erin finally got him back inside he was scared and had a few war wounds. Seems that other cats that are living around the junk yard near her place didn't take kindly to a house kitty.

Oh dear hope SIberian is OK Jeff, thankfully here there are only 2 other local cats and Max is friends with both (Billy was playing with Max this morning) :)

He seems fine and not worse for wear. But he did get a good scare and he might have learned to stay in from now on. He was all hissing when he got back but in a few minutes he calmed down. I think he was both scared and in some sort of pain. But he did mess around with a bunch of cats that run that area and they didn't want no house kitten around. Now Scala is the good boy and he never wants to go out on his own and the best part he's really warmed up to Erin. He loves his human mommy!

It's so cute. He's generally shy but over time he just grew to love her and he lays down on the back of her chair all day. I'll bring him home for the night so I can get some kitty time. He sleeps on my arm all night.

Glad to hear he's getting over his fright Jeff, I'm always so nervous the first time our cats go outside, our neighbour and our property backs onto fields so that's not so bad but the other side is the road and that's what makes me nervous. Although it's the main road through the village it's really quiet so that's in it's favour, and most traffic has stopped not long after 6pm.
Both of mine don't wander too much though so that makes me feel easier. :)
