Just ordered another Windows 10 device...

It's an 8 inch tablet with Windows 10 (I think it's proper Windows 10 Home), for £37.95 delivered. Google tells me that's currently $47.39 US.

Only 1GB of RAM though, but 32GB of 'disk' storage, so Win10 should be usable if not great with lots of apps open.

I don't need a new tablet, but I was interested to know what differences there might be on a Windows 10 OEM computer, and this seems a cheap way in.
The OS should be more or less the same. It's the processing speed that usually suffers with these kind of devices. Plus depending on the price, screen responsiveness also differs. I have a 3-year old ASUS 10-incher (T-100 upgraded from Win 8.1)). It's good enough for browsing and checking emails when travelling.

    Enjoy your new toy!

Wish they had some like that for those prices around here but alas, only Androids like that and I can't stand it any more. There are few made here but all Android and not worth the money they ask for (Over 100 Euro and up).

Well, since my Surface Pro 2 hates Windows 10 for some reason, I decided to keep it on 8.1 and pass it down to the kids. My latest order is the replacement for it.

Best deal on this laptop on Amazon. 128GB SSD for OS, 1TB HDD for storage, duo core i5 skylake CPU, GTX 950M, 15.6 in 1920 x 1080P. This laptop will be use for college, and with the GTX 950M it able to play new AAA games on 760P. Yeah, console resolution but what else can you ask for a laptop that have GTX 950M for under $600?! Not just only that, it have 2 drives.

This will be my first computer in years that wasn't made by HP. My poor little HP 700-074 is only good for a few spare parts now.

At least it has standard parts, don't have to rely on HP for drivers. Would be pity not to ad a decent GPU. Gonna put that SSD in it ?
