Way cool my grown son has a significant (as in large ) Hot Wheels collection . I got a few US 1950's die cast smaller car models about a little bigger than hot wheels in the bookcase here along with a red 57 vette maybe 1:18 scale on a little pedestal it came on in the bookcase it's nothing remarkable or pricey model wise at all you can probably get them just about anywhere but it looks cool anyway .
My 2nd year high school car back when they were just used drivers . It started out an original 2dr HT 283 2bbl + 3 on the tree with dual ex. and glass packs (no power pack heads or stock 4bbl WCFB love ) and then so on and so on after that
I was already a gear head by then and rebuilt my used 66 Honda CL77 305cc twin single ohc motor & trans by then
and the top end of my 56 Chevy post 2dr motor that I had before the 57 Bel Air
Here is one of those CL77 Honda's mine had a metallic blue tank & side covers & rear fender .I got a photo flatbed scan .jpg of it some where on a storage hdd . I put a CB77 Chicken hawk cam ,tach drive & cable and tach/speedo headlight & CB sprockets on it out of a salvage .
it was fun bike that way but they were big heavy porker's in the dirt all that scrambler business was more for show
than anthing else but you could do city path/and some park trails on it and actually get up some dirt hills but getting down without plowing the frt. wheel & face planting or rolling sideways or end over end was the hard part if it was any kind of gravity hill or badly rutted you cud push a
95- 100 -105 on it in a good tail wind with the CB cam & sprockets & a good tune could happen but it wouldn't get there fast or stay there long it started running out of acceleration lower than all that if you were smart and liked the motor in one piece it you didn't run it like that for long or often .
It was cool having a bile and a car . I did that for awhile with bikes /cars and then ,cars ,trucks & and boats .
No hobby vehicles or money pit boats now just a late model GMC ext.cab with 20" chrome dubs on it and some beat in it and other money pits
Got the rest the Maxis Traxxas nitro RC parts in fromon line shops today that will be fun to fire up and drive &jump on the rack we made on large the back lot with the help of the neighbors dirt bikes
