Just ordered a new desktop to replace a 8 year old Lenovo. I'm getting up there in years so this may be the last one I'll ever buy.
4.9 GHz core_i7, 32 GB DDR4, 1TB SSD, 12 cores, Windows 11 Pro.
I'll move the two 2TB drives from the Lenovo over to the Dell.
Yes, I could have built my own but with specs like this I didn't see the point.
Dell Vostro 3000 Series 3910 Business Desktop - Windows 11 Pro
Also replacing my old HP Probook 450 G1 with a refurbed Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 . Added a bluetooth mouse so I don't take up a USB port.
In the 70's I did model rockets. I was trying to decide on a hobby that didn't require too much space or outlay.
So, I thought, why not to model rockets again.
So I ordered this... SA-14 Archer™
Ofc, it flies and has to be built from a kit.
With the engine I'm gonna use it will reach about 500 ft., and will return by parachute.
I have to this day a model rocket with a small 110 camera. When the cone popped off via the engine it took a picture with a reverse mirror on the side of the nose cone. I put it altogether and never once flew it. Flash forward a couple decades latter and now I have a Chinese spy drone... Curiosity of the DJI company.
