A September 2022 review in NOTEBOOKCHECK : Beelink SEi12 mini PC review: Outperforming the Intel NUC 11

Beelink SEi12 mini PC review: Outperforming the Intel NUC 11 - NotebookCheck.net Reviews.

USD 491 (INR 41276) swiped off my wallet/card. Checked on Amazon India - an older Beelink model costs INR 77000plus. Some consolation .

I bought four mini PCs like that on eBay for a grand total of $28. They're Haswell, but perform admirably.

    .
It appears you have a USB-C port there which should support Video Out, there are USB-C to most (if not all), recent adaptor cables for Video - A lot more affordable than new monitors.
My XPS17 Dell laptop does not have any ports other than USB-C and I have a number of adaptors for everything from Ethernet to Video in my bag for travel usage

    Thank you @Barman58

Unfortunately the USB C port is a "Data only" port. It is very specifically mentioned in the specs. So I can only connect through HDMI ports of which there are two.

My desktop at home ( in India) Dell Inspiron 3280 - (22" display) is an all-in one and no HDMI port is provided. So can't be used as a monitor.

That is one of the bad things about modern computing we have too many connection standards that manufacturers just give "Lip Service to" just to save a few cents If they fit them at all

A thankyou for helping out on the Pimoroni forums. I also do some software testing / troubleshooting for them from time to time.

I'm a Raspberry Pi Single Board Computer fanatic. One down side to that is dealing with Micro HDMI, Mini HDMI, and Standard HDMI, depending on what model Pi it is. I have a box full of various HDMI cables and or adapters. And another box of USB hubs with Micro, Mini etc USB host plugs.

My go to device, mini PC wise, is a Pi 4B. Disclamer, it won't (officially) run Windows. It meets my needs though. It does what I need it to do.

This one Pi 4B I use as a MINI PC. It's in an Aluminium Heatsink case. It runs a full OS, just not Windows. I am going to give Windows 11 a try when I get a chance. It's currently the only Pi I have that doesn't have servo's etc connected.

The Inventor RB2040 will likely see a set of motors, won't be stepper motors though. It's not setup for that type of motor.
