I opted for non-XT model for several reasons. It's much cheaper than difference in performance which is very, very small, certainly not 100 bucks worth.
It's PCI x8 and my MB splits PCIe lines between two PCIx 16 slots. I can now use second PCIe slot for an adapter to 2 NVMe drives and get full speed of those SSDs. Right now I'm using third PCIe x16 (which is only PCIe gen2 and slows NVME to almost SATA speed.) for a single PCIe to NVMe adapter. Planning to go all M.2 drives soon and getting full speed out of them is welcome.
As I manged to save and earn few bucks this summer, I thought to upgrade to latest generation to match CPU and my old Rx 570 is already 4 generations behind. GPU prices have stabilized but both, AMD and Nvidia have conspired to not release new generation until all stock is sold and they are still making good money on them. Intel is still way behind with their GPUs, have a lot of troubles with them so they don't make an impact right now, whatever they do.
Except for going all M.2 NVMe drives I don't plan on any major upgrades for couple of years. This setup will put me squarely in mid range PC for those couple of years.

Well my binoculars just arrived a couple hours ago.
Ofc they're not $1500 binocs, but they are easily worth the $74, I paid for them.
I can read a license plate 500yds., away. And I could focus on a telephone pole transformer, a couple miles away.
The image is really bright and clear as well. One of these days I'll take some pics. But they have better pics at Amazon anyway.
If they had only arrived a few hours earlier, I could have checked out that big, heavy chopper that flew overhead.
From all the research I've done in the last week and a half... if I had the money, I'd get these...
Amazon.com <--- These are everything mine aspire to be.

Although I do not own the Nikons, I have tried them out in the field and was not that impressed [ obviously just a personal thing], the glass was excellent but the actual fit to my hand was not great.
I currently own two pairs of binoculars a set that cost me hundreds of pounds and a cheap sub £100 pair from Celestron that I bought to carry in my Photo Bag and I often find myself reaching for the Celestron pair in preference to the expensive ones. which are less comfortable to use.
I also have other kit from Celestron including a 100mm Field Scope and a Mini Scope (plus a range of eyepieces that fit both).
things are changing a lot in the optical field in the last few years -so much that Nikon Cameras are now fitted with Sensors manufactured by Sony. Sony also by the Way sell more DSLR cameras worldwide than Nikon and Canon combined
If anybody wants great binoculars, get one navy uses, UV filters, wide angle, magnification 10+ and or variable with range finder.
I was actually looking for a decent monocular. The Jason Bourne (3rd movie), type.
But finding a fairly skinny monocular with good glass, that isn't 3" in diameter... is a bit hard.
This is the cheapest half way decent monocular I found... but it's on the fat side...

I don't have a gun, but I've also been looking into a small scope, with good glass.
I can find them skinny enough, but they tend to be like 16" long.
