Exactly what I have to do - If the switch is in the full off position no DRLs.

Anyway, I leave the switch in auto so the headlights come on when the light fades or when my rain sensing wipers come on. The lights also auto shutoff after a set delay when the engine is shut off.

Anyway, when I said I wanted to enable my DRL's, I meant change the settings to have the low beams come on instead of the signature light strips for the lights. Looking at it now, I prefer the light strip as my DRL so I made no changes.

Now I understand why you had to have the scanner to set the lights.

Exactly. Also the scanner allows you to modify/change other features as well, not just the lights.

Anyway, my options for DRL was High Beam, Low Beam, Not Configured (this is where the Signature Lighting is set to), and Off if I remember correctly. Left them at "Not Configured".

Grabbed my first NVMe SSD last night. Glad I did too, because the price shot back up to $350 this morning.

I found out something interesting about my 2017 Ram the other day. I only wanted to pull it up about a foot and I didn't have the seat belt on and the driver door was open. The brake came on and the warning buzzer went off until I put it back in park.

I'm glad to hear that. I was going back and forth between the Crucial and a slightly more expensive Western Digital model.

Edit: Well, never mind. Amazon sent me a 250 GB one instead of the 2 TB one I bought, and now the 2 TB one is out of stock. Oh well.

Yeah, my car went into a conniption fit cause I didn't put my seat belt back on. These new cars have all sorts of safety and bells and whistles included so they can surprise you with the things they.

My car has the rotary nob shifter and I found out if you open the door while the car in drive the shifter will immediately auto shift the knob to park (YouTube). Pretty cool safety feature. Also while the car is in drive and moving you can't accidentally shift from drive to park.

Also the rear seatbelts in my car will inflate (miniature air bag) in case of an accident. Will all the features I have on my 2017, I can only imagine what a 2021 full featured vehicle includes now

As I said, these cars are turning into rolling computers now. Even able to be connected to and ran from a smartphone. I can check the status of my vehicle including getting mileage and gas info from my phone. I can even lock and unlock doors, start the engine, and schedule engine start times. To name a few.

Welcome to the new generation of "smart cars".
