Good choice. My son has a 2009 Ford Fusion with over 200 thousand miles and still run great.
    Thanks

I'm a Ford man so I know they last. Never had an engine go on any of my 5 previous Fords; it was always old age breakdowns outside the engine department that got them. I tend to keep cars until they start falling apart. Hate car payments

Anyway, car was supposed to be delivered Sunday got pushed to this Thursday, so....

Anyway, this particular Fusion (Platinum) is basically a scaled down Lincoln MKZ with less features. The bodies are pretty much the same.

If I remember correctly they also have a slightly different engine. My 2005 Ford Explorer has over 180 thousand miles and still running good.

For the 2017's - Lincoln MKZ Reserve / Ford Fusion Platinum and Titanium I looked at both use 2.0 liter 4 cylinder twin turbo engine; but yes, I'm sure there are some slight variations considering the Ford's use the "EcoBoost" engines.

Does anybody any more deliver cars by hiring a driver ? I remember seeing adds in Toronto papers looking for people traveling to destination car was destined to, in most cases with payed fuel.
I'm a "Ford man" too, except for a Skoda and a VW, I never had any other make. 3 Mustangs (1969, 1970 and 1971) 2 F100 pickups (1970 and 1974), 1 Mercury M100 (Ford F100 made in Canada) and now 2 Ford Fiesta, last one driving now is a 4 door Diesel 1.8. All were well used, except for that 1970 Skoda I never bought new vehicle.

I have no idea how that industry works. I just know Carvana offered free delivery on a car I wanted. Unfortunately their constantly shifting delivery date has put me off. I needed a car yesterday not 3 weeks from now

Anyway, I'm now looking locally again and If I find what I want I'll be dropping Carvana. The reason I went with Carvana is because they have the car I was looking for at a good price point. The frustrating part is the constantly shifting delivery dates

Car finally arrived. 2017 Ford Fusion Platinum. It's very clean and well kept; hardly any scratches and definitely no door dings. Interior is pretty much pristine for a 2017. Very evident the previous owner took care of it. Even has new tires

Drives well and is extremely quiet. Very impressed. We'll know more after a few days of testing

I also bough a car online last year. It's brand new from factory so there is really nothing to worry about scratches or anything. In fact, there's hardly enough kilometers to it 7 months after I picked it up (COD).
