They got any Pontiacs still runing built after the '70's ☻They were abysmal products outside the decent later Holden /Pontiac V8 GTO/G6 by the time they closed & maybe 4th gen Firebird T/A before that so were the Buicks and Olds most of the Chevys and Cads outside the truck and SUV product GM actually invested some money in and that had decent unit sales . I had a couple of mid to late 60's Pontiacs that were stonking good and fast cars though !

IMO They could bring back Pontiac and it wouldn't necessarily be totally wrong if they could execute it right ☻
not Olds though they were snoozers forever they lost all thier mojo in the early 70's

Now that GM has gone on to global platforms and got they azz saved by GM Holden & GM Opel engineering & tech and brought some of all that home the automotive product aint half bad now !


North American GM automotive platforms outside the vette been sorely lacking for decades until more recently same at Ford Motor even with the dreary compact Ford/volvo & EU Ford /Mondeo platforms and also at FCA.with the balkanised platforms outside of jeep and Ram and some of the later Chrysler/ Charger product based on daimler Benz platforms & drivelines they got while Dieter Zetsche was bleeding them dry before they got parked at Cerberus Capital and finally given to Fiat when USG couldn't findany takers after thier failed economic policies almost tanked the world's economies and ours


Fomoco and GM are very competitive and CAD is making some good moves in the luxo premium markets and despite being ugly Buick is selling everything they can make and Ford motor ain't looking bad either but FCA ain't doing all that well outside the Jeep and RAM product nobody wants balkanized Fiat /Alfa platforms and the decent Charger/Challenger/Chrysler 300 RWD platforms will be migrating to all that and they are losing the Hemi's .!

You have to know how to grind them and see the money the mfr. has on the hood (or not) the dealer incentives ,invoice , maybe holdbacks and volume discounts ,ofc. product availability and demand (maybe what people typically pay where you live ) and when to walk out but you have leave them something on the table.

ofc the vehicle's cost the dealer money just sitting within insured real estate also aside from everything else . Usually near end of month when sales quotas are imperative to reach is the best time to buy aside from any seasonal and year end discounts and money on the hood .

TBH they often make more profit on a decent used car outside of loaded premium products .

You have to move a lot of product,usedcars & accessories and write a lot service these days to stay in business but with all the recalls now there is often a lot of of warranty work incremental revenue opportunity although it pays less than retail and they pay slow and make you jump through all the hoops and precisely cross all the T's and dot the I's
and a lot times the warranty zone rep has to visit and approve a lot of of the old parts from each warranty invoice or claim during his or her periodic visits before a claim gets paid and the parts get destroyed or whatever some go back for field product reliability analysis ,random sampling or just because

I bought an alleged $100.00 pair of Plantronic's at about half price; they only lasted a couple hours on a full charge!

@Edwin , I got my earsets last Friday and testing it now. When you say your Plantronics lasts for a couple of hours, is that making calls? Listening to music? or both?
Right now my earsets are running for the past 2 hours purely on music (while working in the office). I'll update you later how long before the battery runs dry. :)

UPDATE. @Edwin ,I finished work today (8hrs) and the earset's batteries are still not dry. Will see how much longer it will run tomorrow. I had it on all day even though I wasn't using all the time just to test the batteries. It was on high volume setting but the actual sound volume is being controlled by the phone which is between low and medium setting.

Ordered 1/18 scale die cast models of a 1964 and a 2016 Ford Mustang both in ruby red of course.

They will be a nice addition to my growing Mustang themed collection which I started when I got my New Mustang about 3 months ago.
