What do you think of the TV series Gold Rush. When it first started I really liked it. But I have lost my interest in it. I don't believe that it is as realistic as it used to by but staged to a great degree. What do some of you think about it?
Well, I do like some "reality" shows but it's hard to tell what is really scripted and what's not anymore. I personally like Overhaulin with Chip Foose. Scripted, yes but FUN!!
I just watched Restoration Garage and it's not that bad. Actually it's a nice reality show. No drama and it's all about the cars. Very refreshing.
I used to like Swamp People and that one started to get overly dramatized so I didn't watch the last few of them. Then I also liked Moon Shiners but lost interest in that one. I think my wife is right when she says I'm too much of a realist. I should not try to analyze and enjoy them. She might be right. Nevertheless, I can't wait until baseball season starts.
I'm glad Todd Hoffman stopped saying "Frick", that annoyed the hell out of me all through season 1 to 3, as for Gold Rush turning fake, it's turned into a very good drama show, but none the less, still rate it above anything else that's on nowadays, lets face it, Parker Schnabel has better acting skills than any one from the cast of NCIS
