    Topics like this will only make some people (with foreign tongue) shy away from this forum. This is not an online university. We should just all let it go.

    That's your opinion.... in my opinion it's perfectly legitimate for the chill out room of a public forum

    Can't agree with that statement. First it's in a place where not many would go first, doubt if any newcomers would even pay any attention to it. Second, it's in no way demeaning to anyone and third, it could be a good place to learn something. Some, even small error can change the meaning of many things.
    Here's an example that I can see over and over;
    So many times somebody would refer to whole desktop computer as CPU.

    "Computereeze" I call it, could be just as bad as "Legaleeze" or "Doctoreeze". I had also been talking to many engineers and they have own dialect too.

    Do you know that in "computer language", "lol" is the same as "kek"? :)

    "kek" wasn't intentional from the beginning but in the gaming world, it is globally accepted. It's not a typing mistake but rather a keyboard bug on some games. Even if they type "lol" in correct "spelling", "kek" is what comes out on the screen. See how weird language can sometimes evolve? :)

    The thing is, now some people are typing "kek" intentionally instead of "lol".
