We got War of the Worlds (1953) from Netflix and watched it yesterday.

Thank you, George Pal, for bringing in Sci-Fi movies.

Has anyone seen these movies. They were 2 movies that I did not like because they were so real, one was called Five. A smart bomb that only killed humans and animals was dropped. It is about 5 people that survived and found each other. In the cities the sirens were sounding constantly even after everyone was dead and for quite awhile every time I heard sirens I thought of that movie. There was another one where an A bomb was dropped in Kansas. They were probably made during the cold war. A bit to real for me.

Are they documentaries or feature films? Doesn't ring a bell for me. Try a IMDB forum. You may have better luck.[emoji1]

Feature films, probably before your time. I found the 5, viewed it but got rid of it, to sad. I found this.

I just looked it up. Gone Girl does sound like it's a good movie.

The original was great but the remake with Cruse was not that bad ... for a remake.
