    Last One To Post Wins [25]


    Good afternoon All I have been in the bees the last few days and they are in better shape for the winter than anticipated.
    Did not have a truck full of dead ones after looking at 5 bee yards I only had to pick up 4 hives.:)
    However the weather for the start of this week is Bad more rain.

    Hi Beeman,

    Good to hear the bees are doing OK so far. Hopefully the rain won't be as bad as that forecast shows.

    Cold nights and lack of pollen would be my guess. Wasps and bees have been gone for the season about a month here now.

    They went queenless and did not replace her. Not all parts are in yet for the Lathe.

    Well its getting to be late november and no snow this year yet here in southeast wisconsin. Did see a few flakes earlier this week but nothing on the ground. Did have a frost a few times.

    Robert, Colorado is in the mountains. Most peaks are over 14,000'. Gets cold up there!
