Last One To Post Wins [24]

Got some Kielbasa boiling up for dinner. Wife is at work. I'm like a married bachelor when it comes to that.

Booted up in 10 and did some posting. Got up to get my dinner and came back to splash screen. So that means a BSOD.

Yes, yes.. that's what I'm trying to follow. But you see, I can't find the ESD file.

I've ran his tool and it tells me the file doesn't exist. I've tried running ESDtoISO install.esd and ESDtoISO install.wim. Neither work.

Do you know what's causing it?

Me too. I had Edge open with one tab for forums. I had File Explorer doing a search in System 32 doing a search for ESD. At the same time I opened Event Viewer and my fans kicked in higher then BSOD. I've never heard my fans that high in either OS even 7. When it rebooted I chose 8.1. When 8.1 booted the fans screamed in high for about 5 seconds, then went to low speed. It never, ever does that in 8.1 even when pushing this thing to the limit. It was hot coming from 10. So what I think it's telling me is that 10's ACPI (cooling controls) isn't so good in 10576. I don't think the fans are increasing at the correct time. I think that's why I was getting graphics failure yesterday too. And Bob mentioned his fans.
