That's not a bad price, and USB 3 from the get go.

My next decision is whether or not to, and how many holes, I drill in my nice new official Pi Foundation Pi 3B case? It's identical to the white/red one I sold you, only all black, and the light pipes on the correct side for the 3B. I bought it a while back knowing I was going to buy another 3B at some point. I know it's going to get hot inside, it has no cooling vents in it at all. I may just leave the top open and not mount the top most cover. Holes in the very bottom won't show but the board will block those and I don't think much air will circulate. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to put a couple of small holes in each of those side pieces. The one that's just blank for sure. I think I'll tape a piece of graph paper over it so they all line up nicely. I'll use my dremel with a small drill bit too for better control. I'll turn the speed way down. I ordered a couple of the tall heat sinks with that last order so one of those should help. I also ordered a couple of the smaller (not so tall) ones for my Zero. If the tall one is too tall I use one of those instead. I'm pretty sure the taller one will fit though. That or cut a square hole in the top cover and let it stick out the top. I'll sort it all out when I have all the parts in front of me.

Hello folks! Now I am really back for good.
When is RasPi 4 coming out? I think I am gonna skip Pi 3 and wait for the next big thing. :)

I have a heat sink on the one I have plugged into my Explorer PHat. The one I just ordered comes with the Pibow Zero case. https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/pibow-zero-ver-1-3 I'd have to leave the top cover off or cut a hole in it. A hour or so with a dremel cutting wheel and a file will fix it.

Early next year I think. The new Pi 4 will have 4K video, 4 gigs or Ram, 4 SATA connectors, and 4 USB 3 ports.

Sorry, couldn't resist. I haven't seen any rumors of a totally new version. The ZERO is stealing the show at the moment. They added a camera port to it. The A+ was also updated with more RAM. I'd be happy if they just upped the RAM on the 3B and put out a 64 bit version of Raspbian.
The only other big thing on my wish list is multi touch support (in Raspbian) for the official Pi display. It can be added but from the looks of the post on the Raspbian forum, its a lot of work.

I missed this somehow, https://www.adafruit.com/product/3288 Hard to tell but a thin heat sink might fit inside? At least it has an air vent in it. I like the breakout parts too. Why have a big hole if you never soldered on the header, etc.

I want to get playing pretty badly with the Pi.
I'd get yourself a nice small wireless keyboard. If you don't already have one. Especially if you plan on running KODI. Jack and I have one of these, http://www.canakit.com/raspberry-pi-...board-rii.html Having the built in touchpad is nice. I also use a Logitech K400 with my Pi. The Logitech Unifying dongle will work in Raspbian and KODI with no extra drivers needed. It's nice to be able to sit back from a big TV, especially if its not on a desk.

I like that little case ,,a lot of Pi Zeors are used for projects and become permanent ,some I see never soldered a full header ,just solder the single wires to the gpio holes

Skipping the header makes it nice a slim. If your not using a Hat or Cobbler its easier to just solder right to the board, especially if its only a couple of wires.

@ Jack I'm throwing in this case with that Pi I'm selling you, https://www.adafruit.com/products/1998 at no extra cost. It's a Pi 2 case, and I don't see me ever buying another Pi 2 or B+. I'll never use it so why hang on to it. The light pipes are on the wrong side for a model 3. I bought it way back when I bought my first B+. I think it was a B+, what ever the other one was that I sold you? The screws for the camera board are inside in the upper half.
