I put up something to throw our old Pi at
Looks to be a good quality picture. Not bad for what that costs anyway.

Chuck, in Wheezy, the Keyboard layout button is missing, like you posted in your screen shot. You'll also know you installed Wheezy, and not Jessie, if you get the config menu in your second screen shot automatically on first boot. Jessie boots to desktop by default.

Now it's time to set my keyboard etc. I didn't feel like doing that while standing on my head. lol.
I'm gonna try out Jessie. I think I broke Wheezy some how...

If you have some personal settings done and programs intalled, did you know that you can also create image backups of Wheezy in case you messed it up?

Thanks, robot. Right now I don't have anything personal or important.

You mentioned another way to use my iPad as a display? Sudoing? My way stopped working. Keeps coming back telling me that the port it's listening for isn't responding.

EDIT: Hold up, I may have figured out what I was doing wrong.

Figured it out. I didn't have the VNC server set up on my Pi. Apparently I have to set it up every time I want to use my iPad as a display.

You can also use remote desktop connection on windows to connect remotely to the Pi. But first, on the Pi terminal type and enter 'sudo apt-get install xrdp'. When done fire up Remote Desktop Connection on Windows PC, type the IP address of the Pi and connect. Username and password are "pi" & "raspberry".

    From my tweak sheet.

    Enable Remote log in
    Run Config
    sudo raspi-config

    8. Advanced Options
    A4 SSH enable
    Finish
    Then
    1.Open a terminal window
2.Type the following command "sudo apt-get install xrdp"
3.If promoted enter your password (the default is "raspberry")
    4.Type "Y" and press enter.
5.This is now installing xrdp onto your Pi which is the software we are going to use for the remote desktop connection. Wait for it to complete.
6.Restart your Pi. We are going to check that xrdp is going to start up automatically.
7.When your Pi has booted to the command prompt look for [ ok ] Starting Remote Desktop Protocol server : xrdp sesman. This shows you that xrdp is installed and automatically starting up on start up of your Pi
8.The last step is to make a note of the IP address of your Pi which should also be displayed on the start up
