That'll be in the garage. I'll have a small heater out there during subzero weather. I'll start her car for her most times. I may get a remote starter for her. She does have to park outside while working.

How true. The wind was a B, but snow and construction sites don't go well together. Right after Labor day and depending on what's on the project calendar, I would advertise specials on basements and interior remodeling. I also tried to hold people off that needed either one of those two for winter. Even offered a 5% discount if they would. There were winters that there wasn't any interior work. I would have a steel burn barrel to warm up hands. That's what gets wet and cold. Psychologically it helped to know that too.
We always told clients, who wanted their property lines brushed opened and staked that it would cost them less if they could wait until winter. Running a brush axe or a chainsaw helps to keep a person warm when its -20F!!!

You all have a great Holiday. Time for us to go shopping. Or rather, it's time for me to go. My Wife says it's her day off & she's spending it lounging around. Can't blame her. She's one of the lucky ones...she still gets the holiday. But for how long.......
That only works for a short time...already tried it in the past.....
Good morning/afternoon/evening folks. How is everyone?
It’s a cloudy, grey 19°F/-7°C. Warming to 21°F/-6°C today. Duplicate of yesterday. We had a couple more of inches of snow last night.
I see the East Coast is getting hammered. Hope y'all...
