Back in the day we had to wind/rewind the VHS tape to find the cartoon we wanted to watch, so we frequently gave up and just watched them all in sequence. Now my son jumps from one episode of Booba to the other in Netflix and yells if you dare make a mistake. Fortunately I have watched most episodes with him to know exactly which one he wants.
Yeah, I heard form a Navy Vet back in the day (1960s I think it was) they ate a lot of SOS. But my parents didn't toast the bread that I can remember (circa 1980s). Probably never thought to do that. LOL
It was just a piece of white bread and you poured on the chipped beef and gravy and that was it. Come to think of it, I wonder how long that stuff will store in the freezer? Because it'd make a great prepper meal in no time.
And thank you for your service. I almost, ALMOST joined the Navy back when I was 19. Recruiter was right there in my room at Job Corp ready to take me off center, but the placement specialist who ever convinced me to not go and instead apply for a grant and go to college. Well, I didn't do that either. I kinda kick myself. Thought maybe I could see if I couldn't hack Navy SEALs BUD/S training and become a SEAL. All mind over matter on that one...
Back in the day I didn't score very high on the ASVAB anyway... I'm very dumb...
That's pretty cool and all, but in classic '50s/'60s Sci-Fi fashion the groundhog should be holding a woman...
