Seriously, had many paper routes. And so did my Bro and sister. In fact, sometimes my mother rode along and helped my sister and brother.

Many people don't realize this. But a paper route is a 7 day a week, 365 day a year job. Unlike the lazy mailman... (I mean person. Gender neutral, yo) LOL Well, my mother would help my sister and brother out on their routes and Christmas time was always interesting since at many houses they could hear all the happiness in the house opening their presents... This is why Capitalism 1, Communism 0.

You must have seen this country change in ways like never. Even though I'm 43, I think living in the '50s or '60s would be a lot better. Though, my love of computers and whatnot wouldn't be there anymore... I'd have to get exercise... LOL Well, it was kinda like that for me in the '80s. My parents certainly couldn't afford a computer. And I never really got my "real" first computer until 2003. It was a Dell C600 laptop running Windows 98se. Little did I know I could have stuck XP on that thing. Prior to that I had an old green screen HP Vecrta something that used DOS. My mom picked it up for me at a yard sale. Now unbelievably I own at least six computers, with at least four being on at any given time.
