Well, it is called a 'wedding shower' after all - seems appropriate that it's raining.

It's mild, sunny and dry here today. My rain arrives tomorrow with showers lasting through to the Monday. It's commonly held that all our bank holidays here in the UK are wet, and this one looks to be no exception

Yes it is a wedding shower. They actually have two weddings this year. Busy and expensive.

I was lucky, I have just the one daughter and she insisted on making all the wedding arrangements herself, so she was the one with all the work to do.
All I had to do was pay for it

Just the one kind of weather today, dry, mild, and mostly sunny. All the rest arrive with the rain tonight, and showers expected to continue through Monday.
