    Good morning Ken.

A little below typical temps here, and a few showers today (typical for our April).

Off this evening to spend a weekend with the grandchildren, so may not be popping in that often until I return

    Good morning / afternoon folks.

In the upper 40's this morning, rain & T Storms expected later with highs in the low 60's.

My Wife wanted me to pass on a thank you to everyone for the good thoughts & prayers, she appreciates them as do I. Thank you.

So yesterday a rep called & asked if I had any questions, I did, about how much PT she'll be getting with her walking. She said they were limited with what they could do because of the weight bearing issue. I told her the hospital rep was told by one of their people they had equipment that could compensate for that, that we were averse to sending her there in the 1st place due to her foot issue & not being able to get the full benefits of full treatment. So I expect her to get treatment for walking based on what we were told. I said if you can't do that, then this is a waste of time & I'll just transfer her right now.

She got back with me later in the day & said PT does have equipment that can compensate & they would be using that. I told her I would be out sometime next week & I want to see her PT being done.

Always something when it comes to the medical system here....
    Good morning Borg.

    Afternoon Bree.

Well, I'm trying to. I don't understand it all yet, but trying to get the best for her.

One of the home nurses explained it to us, it's like a journey. You start at the hospital, then you move to specialized care, then to a skilled nursing center, then to home care. Apparently this "journey" starts over every time you are admitted to the hospital, if it's not too soon after you're on home care.

I have to ask, is it that complex of a medical system in your country? I mean you would think if someone needs care for something severe, they would keep up the care as long as it's needed.

Here it just kind of winds down as you progress along the journey. Doesn't matter if you still are in need of specialized care, it just automatically moves from one step to the next, regardless of your condition.

Trying to hang in there & do the best I can.....

Morning computiac, a few showers today but looks dry and mostly sunny for the weekend. A little on the cool side though.
