In the upper 40's this morning with rain predicted along with T Storms.

I have to head out, my Wife is in the hospital. She had a fall on Tues & when PT came over Wed they didn't like the way her foot looked, so they took her in. She's finally getting some IV AB's, which is what she needs being that sore on her foot won't heal. Not sure how long they will keep her, long enough to get her to start healing hopefully.

Good morning / afternoon all.

In the low 50's, supposed to be high winds, rain & T Storms all day long. The high wind warning is in effect until Sat eve.

Thank you everyone for the good thoughts & prayers. They are much appreciated. My Wife says to tell you all thank you as well.

She's been getting AB's via IV, the wound care specialists came in to look at her foot & they did an MRI w/contrast on her foot yesterday. So it seems she is getting good treatment for the wound. Haven't heard anything about the MRI results yet. They think there could be a pocket of infection inside her foot, so that's what I assume they were looking for.

She came close to getting discharged without admission. The doc was going to send her home with a script for AB's, but I mentioned to him that she had already had several rounds of those & when he saw one of them on the list he said that changed things & they thankfully admitted her.

I'm off to see her in a bit.
