Good day everyone.
Well the snow dumped well over 6 inches on us. We helped a neighbour with their driveway, he had a heart attack this year.
Guess the snow headed east to Mike's house.
Morning Ken.
Geez, you got some as well?
Hopefully that's the last you'll see of that. Crazy weather all over it seems.
The new phone my Wife got, a Samsung Galaxy, it, unsurprisingly, has AI access built into it. She had to get a new phone, the battery on the old one, about 5 yrs old, wouldn't hold a charge anymore. She got a free with a 3 yr contract.
The PT people started coming over, they are limited with what they can do with her foot having that sore but they are doing some basic exercises that doesn't put too much pressure on it.
Morning Borg.
Yes hopefully the end but that would be optimistic. Just March.
Great to hear that your wife is making progress.
Yes the new phones are crazy powerful.
So I'm guessing by that statement you get snow in April sometimes as well?
Yep, glad she's getting some exercise & treatments again.
Yeah, they're OK, just overstuffed with bloatware. Or most of the older programs are still there, but they bloated them as well.
Had a hell of a time transfering her data. She called the number, the guy from India walked her through everything then said go ahead & hit the button to transfer your account & number.
Just one problem, Samsung has a transfer app & that was on the new phone, but not the old one. So when we hook up the cable the old phone doesn't know what to do with that app info it's getting from the new one. And now the old phone was deactivated, so couldn't get the app over the network.
So I have to go up to the router, mess with that for 1/2 an hour, I have the SSid broadcast disabled as well as only certain MAC addresses allowed on it. I have to break all that down, get the old phone on the net, get the app & then finally transfer it. After it charges for 2 hours, being it loses power fast.
So that was a fun night/morning.
