Thanks for the explanation.
Still having issues with those two new Dells losing sound. Two different Dell support techs applied different fixes to no avail. I noticed some hits on general google searches from February this year. They ran all their routines, bet they come back and want to reload Windows. Already know from Internet that doesn't work and a simple restart fixes. Hoping reliability report can shed some light. Also noticed some drivers for sound that they did not reinstall. A real pain in the (three letters)
