Fortunately I live in about the only part of the UK that only had a Yellow warning for wind, all the rest had an Amber warning. And yes, I've been watching the news casts too. Looks like I dodged a bullet.
Today was still quite windy, but mild, dry and sunny. I took the opportunity to take my classic Mini out for a good run now that the storm had washed all the salt from the roads.
