OK, thank you. So basically a general holiday where everyone gets a day off.

I used to be that way here, a holiday meant everything was closed. Some of the gas stations would usually stay open for 3 or 4 hours on that day. Aside from that, if you needed something from a store you were SOL. 7-11's were far & few between when I was a kid.

Nowadays it's like a normal day on a national holiday save for the state/gov't offices.

Good morning / afternoon folks.

In the mid 60's this morn, headed for the low 80's.

Hardly any motorcycle clubs came through yesterday, think I heard 2 or 3 of them, but that's it. Considering in past years a lot came through on Fri before the holiday, that was a bit of a surprise. Maybe there will be more today.

It's a dry day here with sunny intervals, temps are 19°C/66°F this afternoon. It wouldn't be a traditional UK Bank Holiday without some rain, and that's due to start around midnight tonight, with shower continuing through into Monday.

Yeah, same thing here, seems every Memorial day we get a T Storm or 2. They have a bluegrass festival here on the holiday & the joke is it always rains/storms.

Being about as far from the coast as is possible in the UK, I think I'll give that one a miss for now
