So I saw something on the news a while back saying fast food prices were going through the roof. Well yesterday while out I noticed fish fillet sandwiches at McD's were 2 for $6. So I told my Wife lets get those tonight.

So...4 fillets with extra sauce, 2 med fries & a med shake came to...$25.

The fillets were $12, they charged $1.20 for the extra sauce on all of them, the 2 med fries were $6.75 & the shake was $4.55.

Wow, so much for cheap fast food meals....

In the med 50's this morn with temps expected to hit the mid 60's with rain at some point. Yesterday we hit 76°.

Had a T storm come through last night, woke me up a couple times, strong winds & sounded like hail on the roof.

Sounds like decent weather, a bit cool but nice. We're supposed to have a drop in temps again next week, highs in the 40's & freezing morns again.

My VW Polo has done 100,500 miles and is 14 years old, but the engine still has all it's factory-fitted original gaskets. The only gasket that has ever needed replacing was the seal on the fuel filler cap. Other parts have worn out and had to be replaced (suspension parts mainly, and it's on its 3rd set of disks at the front) but nothing for the engine except routine servicing.

I knew that people were commenting on the high prices but I didn't think they would be that high. WTF is up with fries being that much? I mean they used to be a cheap item. I seriously thought the guy added something extra until he ran it down for me & I was like "Wow...."

I use Rockauto to get parts for my Buick, been using them for years actually. They ship just about anywhere too.
They can give you lots of different choices for the same part. Made by different companies with different prices also.
Cheap parts to high end parts. You should check them out sometime Ken.
