    We had a mild February until now and I've taken it out for a few good runs. We have frosts now though, and the salt gritters are out most evenings. I'll need some heavy rain to wash it away before I can take it out again.

    Yes, and the work alone is about £1.5k, then a genuine part adds another £1k on top of that. I've seen pattern parts for £100, but for a 14 year old car it's marginal whether it's worth spending that much on it. I'll see how I get on this summer with the windows open instead

    It is doing fine I bought a new inverter to replace the two small ones I run the house lights on lucked out on the timing on sale for 100 off with free shipping weight 66 pounds one day after receiving the inverter sale disappeared along with free shipping and any new sales was back ordered to the end of March.

    That will be a test of will Bree. My interior is black and there is just no way to enjoy car on a hot day. Guess I've become spoiled.

    Our summers aren't usually that hot. And don't forget I'm used to a car without AC.
    In the summer the Mini gets as much use as the Polo (sometimes more).
