We had a mild February until now and I've taken it out for a few good runs. We have frosts now though, and the salt gritters are out most evenings. I'll need some heavy rain to wash it away before I can take it out again.
Yes, and the work alone is about £1.5k, then a genuine part adds another £1k on top of that. I've seen pattern parts for £100, but for a 14 year old car it's marginal whether it's worth spending that much on it.
