"New & improved" usually means PIA.

Don't know why they always have to "make things better" when they work fine just the way they are.
In the case of W11 24H2, 'new and improved' means that the appraiserres.dll workaround no longer works to install on an unsupported device, plus the ISO/usb requires a UEFI/GPT install. You can try installing as Legacy/MBR, but at first reboot it cannot find an OS to boot from.

    Like I said, new & improved....my a**

I see on the wushowhide program there's a message now saying they are retiring the proggie soon. I don't like that, I still like to be able to choose what I do/don't download as updates.

    Good morning Ghot.

Enjoy your Super Bowl, I'll have to miss out. Although it's free-to-air here in the UK it doesn't start until nearly 11pm, and won't end until 4am on Monday

It's not that one troubleshooter that's being deprecated, it's all the legacy inbox Troubleshooters and the whole Microsoft Support Diagnostic Tool (MSDT) platform that runs them. The wushowhide.diagcab troubleshooter will continue to work until MSDT is removed in 2025.
