She's disappointed about the test results but at least she's getting PT & the pedal bike I ordered for her is working, she can pedal for a bit. The PT guy was here when it arrived & he said I got a good one.

Good morning Borg. Just rain here and temps in the low 50's.....

They said her brain waves were a bit stronger, but not strong enough to use the device yet. The nurse has been working with stroke patients for a long time & she says they can try it again in 6 months. Apparently it takes time for the brain to heal & settle down. So she didn't pass this time, but they're hoping down the road it'll work for her.

Good luck, I'm sure she'll make the grade next time- she's a fighter....

They said they normally don't test that early after a stroke, 6 months, but I was being pushy about getting her some advanced care. She can appreciate that though & hopes the device will work out for her in time.

Pretty freakin cold here, it's always the damn wind that makes it worse then it is....
