Doctor Who Fans

As of today BBC Iplayer is streaming 643 episodes of classic Doctor Who. Regrettably not all adventure are available as some got lost (allegedly in a flood of storage archives).

Especially looking foward to seeing old dalek episodes (@Simrick). The Borg would not have stood a chance against the Daleks.

It is a historical footnote that colour was not introduced until 3rd Doctor around 1970 as UK was years behind US in having colour TV. UK used analogue PAL 405 lines and it was not until the 625 lines was introduced that colour became possible.

US had NTSC colour back in the 50s. The quality was variable in early days and the joke was NTSC stood for Never Twice Same Colour but hey who in UK knew Lucy had red hair? LOL.

The 1st episode was aired the day after Kennedy was assasinated. They repeated it the following week back to back with the second episode.

Star Trek is new kid on the block lol.
