Been a couple of rough weeks.
My wife had a fall and broke her femur. Thats been operated on, but a knee replacement on that leg is also planned. Thats a long recovery, long stay in hospital. The knee replacement is a bit of a bonus, if you can call it that. Both knees are shot / no cartilage and she refused to get a knee(s) replacement. Why is a whole other topic.
The reason she fell in the first place is her shot knees. She also had a fall last year and shattered her elbow on that same side. Looking at the X-ray, it looks like it was fixed with mecano. Lots of nuts & bolts and metal beams. Another plus is its the same surgen doing that leg, that did the elbow. And now plans to remove some of the metal bits while she is in hospital. This should give her full mobility in that arm. She loves to knit so this is a big deal.
I have to look at the positive, or get pulled down by the negative.
