    Ads TV won't change?

Normally it did on my TCL-Android TV but as of late (more than a MONTH!) my ads on the top won't change. I'm STILL looking at an ad for The Little Mermaid on Disney + and Renner-vations. I thought after a few days it would change, but after a month now... I tried to reset my TV to think it would change the ads but no. Still those two old ads.

Oh how can I get that to change? I'm out of options. HELP!

I have no idea other than to say that's typical for streaming content in that the same old damn Ads play. Perhaps there's some kind of cache in the TV that needs clearing or your TV needs the latest firmware update if it doesn't.

Turn off all telemetry, tracking, reporting, help make better, blah blah settings
Get into developers options via that tap the build number etc thing or whatever for your device.
Enable USB debugging, Enable install from $#@$#@ sources.
Go to your computer/ device etc and download the following.

    0. If this is an Amazon device you could disable Ads and even activate the Google Play store. Android is Android. Good idea bad
idea you also have to be aware of disabling tracking and other features. Not all devices are equal.

    1. "Background Apps & Process List" you can download from the apps section of your TV in most cases. Understand that
Android TV has slightly different versions from the Google-store counter-parts.

You can go to apkpure and download that copy

Background process and apps shows you whatever is running in the background. Be aware that you can also see system processes. Which you could turn off. Turning off things like Amazon music, store, is okay but others are not so be aware of what you turn off. I turn off most of the stuff that starts up. Like Amazon prime/video, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, TNT, CNN, etc. When you
turn off your set and back on again all apps you turned off will start up again. The Android startup environment have these apps
to run at start no matter what.

    2. Super Freeze

SuperFreezZ App stopper | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository

Super Freeze is suppose to keep whatever app off until you decide to unfreeze it. Be careful because it could also freeze important apps that the OS needs to function.

Keep in mind that SuperFreeze is a regular Android App and not a dedicated Android TV app so it might look odd on your display.

    .................................................

    Recap.

-1. You go into settings and disable/enable all the settings freeing up processing power. Do your reading on what setting is what.
    0. You figure out how to turn off and remove ads and enable usb debugging and install from other sources.
    1. You turn off all background apps you feel you do not need running.
    2. You freeze all of those applications you turned off and do not want to see on.
    3. You can disable install from unknown sources after whatever is done being installed optionally.
    4. You make sure you have a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse or even have a working USB mouse/keyboard.
    5. You could also download "Downloader" if you want something to browse and install from the internet.
