The Tectobox one will be alright i missed that initially.
See that's the one I'm using now that has the occasional flicker which will drop me out of fullscreen mode and gets HOT on the HDMI side.
You could just use proper HDMI cable get one that has the certification logo

is there a reason why you need to use an adapter? You mentioned earlier its not an adapter, the cable is still an adapter because its adapting one connector to another.
I think it would be just easier and better to use a normal HDMI cable.

After doing some reading because i didn't know this. The DisplayPort on your GPU will be converting the signal to HDMI on the GPU because it detects the adapter and therefor making it kind of a redundant situation as your GPU has HDMI connector on it anyway.
I would say that if you can plug a HDMI cable already then just use that and an adapter would only really be warranted if you didn't have a HDMI output on the GPU. There is no performance benefit or loss of one method or the other in this context.
You would also need HDMI 2.1 cable for 144hz support.
IDK the adapters you have should work but it makes more sense to just not adapt things as they are only really least case scenarios no one really wants to use adapters unless they have to.
I thought adapters were boxes where one cable plugged into another to convert to a different cable.
Well I need to use a specific Displayport output on the GPU so the BIOS splash screen and BIOS itself show up on the main display. If I use the HDMI port it shows up on the wrong screen, It's a triple TV setup so I am actually using 2 DP to HDMI cables along with an HDMI cable.
I don't know why but that really bothers me having the BIOS not show up on the correct screen.
Nah anything that changes one connector to another is an adapter.
Ok so looking at the specs for that TV you only have HDMI input. Sorry i should of looked at the specs i just made the assumption that there could be display ports available on the TV side, that makes sense as to why you are adapting.
Yes that is because Displayport takes precedence over HDMI and generally its like reading a book left to right on the GPU so the left most connector will be your primary if all connectors are populated.
Just looking at the specs are you making sure that you are using the right HDMI ports on the TV end? as it looks to have 4 connectors on the TV, two of which can only do 60hz. Sorry got to ask these things as you never specified.

You are correct and yes, I'm using the correct inputs. 1 and 2 are the 4k/144hz HDMI slots. I have tried both of those with the same flickering results.
just as much of at a loss as you are at this point the information you have relayed the monitors should be working without issue.
I feel like this cable is labeled like a cheap car amp. It says 4000 watts but can only actually so 1200. So in this case, the cable CAN do 144hz but not for too long.
Incase anyone was going to suggest video drivers, I already ran DDU and tried different versions.
The only thing I haven't tried is another GPU which I don't have any spares in that department.
I think maybe its possible that because you are running right at the edge of what the cable is rated to allow 4k 144hz and you are also running three monitors maybe there is some discrepancy here.
I know that HDMI is certified within its standard same with Displayport but i don't think that an adapter that is converting one connector to another and utilizing both connectors would be able to have either of those certifications.
if you look on VESA and also HDMI none of them offer any information towards cross compatibility or even mentioning adapting the two standards.
What i am getting at is that it might be a fringe case scenario in that it should work in theory but its probably not supported by either standard in way where its reliable.
4k 144hz is at the max threshold that the cabels will deliver on a Frankenstein kind of delivery. I don't actually know the answer to this just my assumption and i also have never adapted Display port to HDMI myself either. I Have adapted other plugs but the older standards are not as complicated.
