Finding good computer help

What do you do when you realize you are to old to keep up with your computers? No I'm not going to shoot myself. How do you really find someone that really knows what they are doing? Does anyone know of a person or company in the Houston area that would drive down to Angleton and look at or fix or explain in old man language how to clean up his useless attempts at onedrive ,Bitwarden downloading the right drivers for GPU. Stuff like that. And getting paid for his work. I have Geek Squad, Micro center where you take everything in and have no idea what they did. I don't know the buzz words anymore. I am serious about this I I hope this is a good place to post this. Thank you for your time. Harry Hesser

The middle one that WXC posted in that link sounds good they have been around since 1986 so they going to know computers pretty well there.

Places like GeekSquad will be bad as they are more about making easy money not quality service and will be quick to tell you things like "you need to upgrade this part$$$" etc.
Although i am in a different country we do have similar ones to GeekSquad here and they are bad, i have also seen many people talk about how bad they are on various forums.

You may even have a few people local to you which you could look for on FaceBook or YouTube and may be able to get better prices, if they are any good they will reflect that usually by self promoting online via streaming or documenting their work, but it is easy to get a computer repairman lemon here too that is just shafting people for money unless you know what to look for.
