as for AI.. it is not more dangerous then splitting the atom... The danger is in how it's used.
and for pausing AI.. that might be a good thing as those who develops it don't even can keep up
Google did try AI a wile back and put two AI to etch other.. they started to develop there own language so the programmers didn't know what was going on, so they pulled the plug.

You should never play with fire, when you don't know how to contain it and to control it. simple 1+1=2 logic

I always wonder how ChatGPT or similar will handle the (baffling to males) legendary female ability to hand three or more conversations simultaneously (often with same person) switching between each conversation seamlessly. My ex wife used to hold conversations with me something like this:

Ex: Dave sent me a nice present
Me: Who is Dave?
Ex: My gran called earlier.
Me: oh?
Ex: I am going to see my cousin Pete next week
Me: I thought your cousin was Dave?
Ex: Dad has got a new car.
Me: I am confused
Ex: Do keep up!

When she had a chat with her mum, I would get totally lost.

I bet there is not a Chatbot in the world that could keep up with their labrythinely interlinked but separate conversations.

I have one simple question for a Chatbot "Explain women's logic in a way that a male can understand"!
