    Anyone else been having problems with Snappy Driver Installer Origin?


    Hi all,

    Just a quick one, has anyone else been having problems with Snappy Driver Installer Origin?

    I have tried to use it on several laptops over the past few months and every driver always fails to install, various different errors. Used to work more often than not but now it is useless. Server problems on their end maybe?

    If anyone could recommend similar driver installer software it would be much appreciated. Doing it manually gets old, fast!

    Drivereasy is free however in the free version it lists all the required drivers and you must individually click each one to install, and can only install two (I think) at once. Pro version does it all for you at the same t8me

    Intel(R) Driver & Support Assistant

    Sometimes even INTEL could contribute...

    Thanks for your replies, must admit forgot I made this thread

    From my experience Windows tends to be pretty good at getting Intel drivers (Chipset, graphics etc). installed through Windows Update, or on occasion the drivers are automatically there from the get-go after installing Windows. The only times Windows hasn't a clue for Intel drivers is with their PowerVR based graphics chips, it would be interesting to see if the Intel Assistant can sort those, something to try in the future.

Hello. I have an HP Laptop that has an audio driver with a hardware ID of HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_76E5&SUBSYS_00000100 However, the only driver available is for windows 8.1 and this driver installer is made for my specific laptop model....
