I was just thinking about having to be out in what we've got here just now: 87 Km/hr winds, eight inches of snow, and 16 degrees on your thermometer (minus 7 on mine). Our property includes about an acre of woods (well away from the house), and we're expecting to find some downed trees come Sunday morning.
Anybody here a Jeopardy! fan? We're watching Ray from Toronto score big. His only real challenge so far has been from a guy from Mississauga, and Ray made it past him. He's interesting to watch: a kind of perpetual dance, shoulders moving all the time.
Hello Wisewiz Yes he has shelter if he wants it as I have 3 barns for the cat to stay in out of the weather. He is still feral and will not let me pick him up he just yesterday allowed me to pet him he has been feral for several years as I have been feeding him for 2 years. As for staying out of the snow, he might need at least 3 cat lives to even see snow.
Someone here uses the signature line, "Saving one animal won't change the world, but it will change the world for that animal."
(I apologize to him for having forgotten which one of us he is. I'm old and forgetful.)
Feeding a feral animal and making shelter available for it is an act of great humanity.
